Banana and Tahini Quinoa Porridge
Porridge is one of my favourite winter time breakfasts, it's perfectly filling, warming and so adaptable. This recipe provides a great combination of protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats and so I highly recommend it as a post workout breakfast.
1 overly ripe banana
2 tbsp quinoa flakes
1 tbsp chia seed
250ml almond milk
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp tahini
1 tsp vanilla powder
1 sachet of Missfits Nutrition vanilla protein powder*
1. Mash the banana.
2. Add all the ingredients to a pan and cook them over a medium heat for about 3 minutes. Stir regularly.
3. Pour into a bowl top with any of the following:
Nut butter, desiccated coconut, banana coins, cacao nibs, pecans.
