Love Winter Walnut Milk

I am loving my Sweetly Simple Potions at the moment, they really are a great pick-me-up to any afternoon. The potions which were created by Nutritional Therapist Jodie Brandman were carefully designed using adaptogenic herbs which respond to your body's hormonal response and ensure your hormones are maintained within the range in which the body requires them. I have created this delicious walnut milk recipe using the Love potion and I can't recommend it enough!


  • (Serves 2)

    1 cup walnuts (soaked for 4-6 hours)
    2 1.5 cups filtered water
    Tiny pinch of Himalayan rock salt
    1/4 tsp vanilla powder
    2 heaped tsp Sweetly Simple Love Potion
    Optional honey to taste


  1. Drain the walnuts and add them to a high speed blender with the water, salt and vanilla powder. Blend for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  2. Pour out 600ml of the walnut milk into a saucepan, add the Love potion (and the honey if using) and place over a low heat on the stove. Using a whisk, whisk continuously until the powder has dissolved.
  3. Pour out into two mugs and enjoy.
