Nutrition Consultancy and Business Mentoring
Leaving university with a nutrition qualification often means feeling confident in the science, but underprepared for the realities of practice. Many graduates receive little guidance on how to set up a nutrition business, manage clients effectively, or support individuals throughout their journey in a safe, structured, and ethical way.
Drawing on over a decade of experience working across 1–1 client practice, brand consultancy, corporate work, and media, Jenna has created a tailored 1–1 mentoring programme for nutrition graduates and early-career practitioners. The programme is designed to provide practical, real-world guidance on setting up a nutrition business, building visibility, knowing where to start when it comes to finding clients, and implementing robust client systems.
Alongside the business foundations, Jenna will mentor you on how to run effective consultations, structure your sessions, and support clients in a way that optimises outcomes while maintaining professional boundaries and ethical practice.

This programme is designed to support nutrition graduates looking to set up their own consultancy business. It targets motivated, hard working individuals who are unsure where to start.
Mentees must be AfN Registered to apply for this programme. -
The programme covers everything you need to set up a nutrition consultancy business. Jenna will work with you to identify your niche (should you want one) and help you create a business based on your goals and the clients you’re looking to attract.
Support includes (but is not limited to):
- Setting up the back-end of your business.
-Creating your business model.
- Creating your client journey from start to finish.
- Creating the resources required to work with 1-1 nutrition clients.
- Marketing support.
- Guidance on media work.
- How to create a nutrition focussed event. -
There are two options. 3-months or 6-months. Depending on mentees’ experience will depend on which time-frame would suit them better. This can be discussed on a call with Jenna.
-
Mentees will get two 60-minute sessions a month with Jenna and email support between sessions. There will be actionable targets following each session. This ensures mentees get set-up effectively.
Mentees will also get personalised feedback, guidance and support on creating their client resources. Jenna will ensure they have all the documentation they require ahead of working with clients. -
Mentoring does not replace formal education or professional registration. Mentees remain responsible for their own practice
